Primitive Games was founded by lifelong gamers who grew up with cartridges, memory cards, and late-night multiplayer. We wanted to build a studio where creativity leads the way, not quarterly profits. Without a corporate ladder or outside investors, we are free to make the kind of games and apps we loved growing up.

Fun is our guiding principle. If a mechanic is not enjoyable, it does not make the cut. If a feature feels predatory, we do not touch it. No microtransactions, no loot boxes, no data harvesting. We believe in experiences that are fair, charming, and worth your time.

Alongside our development work, we also run Retro Game Lore, where we revisit the classics, celebrate gaming history, and share stories with a community that loves the past as much as we do. Everything we create, whether it is a blog post or a new build, comes from the same mission: make something honest, fun, and memorable.
